Best car for BORMSA?

Wondering what people's thoughts are on the issue of the quickest car to run at BORMSA.

Of course, we're happy with the way the X3 is running, but surely it's not the best car available for this sort of event.

I reckon something with a bit more torque, but no more weight would be quicker.

Did they make a Mitsubishi Mirage in a 1.8? EG Civic?

I really should be working and not browsing Pickles Auctions. :)

Anyone got any new cars planned for next season?

i will have a pulsar Q up

i will have a pulsar Q up there in one of the next few events hopefully, same as ben's but without rollcage and hydraulic brakes. and maybe with a LSD kit.

Without hydraulic brakes?!

Without hydraulic brakes?! I hope you're just referring to the handbrake... :)

Be wary of the Viscous LSD they came with - apparently they degrade over time and stop working. Just be careful you're not spending bulk cash on a diff that might not actually work.

Having said that, those Pulsars are a good choice - they've got great torque and are nice and strong.

yer it has stuffed head at

yer it has stuffed head at the moment but i'll have that fixed as soon as i get a new one . also it is the model before they got LSD so im not sure whether i will bother converting it or not , it probably isnt worth it

does anybody know if mike

does anybody know if mike rowsten wants to get rid of the astra that sits in the pits at beverly, because i am under the impression that it has the same engine as whats in my pulsar q , which means the heads are interchangable
