Greetings people
Surely by now you are getting itchy to compete again?
Round 2 of The Summer Autocross Series down at The Motorplex is on Wed evening the 14th December. If you are chasing Supp regs or Entry Forms then have a look at www.facebook.com/SummerAutocross or send me an email to autocross(at)westnet(dot)com(dot)au.

**EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NEEDED**
With another summer almost upon us it's time to start considering where you will get your Motorsport fix when BORMSA and most other motorsport disciplines take a break. What is your Rally weapon, Autocross beast, Khanacross bunky, or pretty much any other road going or off road going vehicle going to do over summer except slowly rust and fail due to neglect? :-)
The Summer Autocross Series is the answer.
At the moment we have 20 entrants:
Moore
Courtis
King
Richardson
White
Thompson
Smith
Coupar
Peters
Peters
Eves
Eves
Harper
Mez
Simson
Livingstone
Connor
Baten
Hewer
Hahn.
Quite a few of the regulars are missing, due to various things including Rally Australia, so bring lots of fuel, as we should be able to get through heaps of stages.
If you have entered, and am not on the list above, just give me a call. Also if you forgot to enter, or have another driver keen, just give me a call, and we should be able to fit you in.
See you there,
Steve.
Greetings everyone
S Technic have arranged for Paul at FireCo to come to our workshop and tag some Fire Extinguishers next Wed evening (1st June).
For $10 per extinguisher Paul will test and either stamp your tag or privde a new stamped tag for you. ALL proceeds will be donated to Gosnells Bush Fire Brigade. ie your $10 bucks will be going straight to Gosnells Bush Fire Brigade.
Obviously, the test is a visual test only not a full pressure test. Only extinguishers that are in good visual condition that are less than 5 years old are able to be tagged.
Mark your calendar!
We will be out at Beverley this Sunday for track maintenance work and other busy bee tasks in preparation for the racing season of 2011.
There is some Autocross track work that also needs completing.
As usual - bring a hat and plenty of water. The club BBQ is available if anyone wants to bring some snags to burn. We can have the esky full of ice as well if it's required.
Please try to indicate your intention if you can make it or not so we have some idea of how many might be attending.
hey folks. should have mentioned this sooner i spose but there are a few of us going to run our rally beasts down the quarter this wed (2nd march) feel free to come along and ill love to race you or catch you there...
Hello we are looking for people who want to come to the initial meeting and just have an input on the running of the autocross, so if you think you have some good ideas, or if you just want to help out. we need timekeepers, secretary, clerk of course, scrutineer, flag marshals, and general helpers. from this meeting we hope to form a committee of people to help get this event off the ground. it’s been a long time coming, and if we don’t get enough help it will be even longer.
Hello good BORMSA people
Any idea when the 2011 calendar will come out?
Please do NOT interpret this as me hassling you guys (I know we, the LCC, haven't looked at ours yet) but just asking, in case you have already started to pencil things in
I do like to try and get your dates in the LCC Club Torque, but haven't done very well this year
Anyway, happy rallying/khanacrossing/motorkhanaing/etc
