Busy Bee: 1-2 April 2017

As you would have seen from Darryn’s posts here on the website and facebook, there’s work to be done to get the tracks back up to top condition for the 2017 season. A Busy Bee is planned for the (cancelled) event weekend of 1-2 April to complete track work and other tasks.

The Jobs List so far includes:
• Track work (top priority!)
• Slashing, whipper-snippering, chain-sawing and weed spraying
• Timing gear fault finding & investigation
• Install gate in post & rail near donga
• Donga tidy-up
• Rustkill and painting of container roof

If you have access to any sort of truck that could be used for carting gravel material, a bobcat or any sort of excavator/bulldozer that would be greatly appreciated. General hand tools, power tools, garden tools, painting and cleaning gear will also help. Can you please let me know at cheryls@iinet.net.au if you are able to attend, which day(s) and what tools/equipment you are able to bring.

Start time will be 9AM on Saturday morning and 8AM on Sunday morning but feel free to pop in at any time throughout the day if you are able to help. We will get the BBQ going for a sausage sizzle around lunch time.
